Drama has a proven positive impact on learning. Our workshops encourage learning through tried and tested drama techniques. Scripts to Stage create unique, theatrical and educational experiences with the wow factor, which connects with the national curriculum.
Our workshop:
- Brings learning to life and provide a stimulating, memorable experience which will motivate your children to engage and interact with the WW2 topic.
- Promises a fun packed day, full of tailored activities, games, to give your children a better understanding of life on the Homefront during WW2.
- Full of tailored activities, that take your children back to September 1939.
- Follow the time line through drama games, activities, costumes, scripts, artefacts, sounds and staging.
- The workshop games begin the moment the children walk into the space.
- The scene will be set with radio broadcasts, newspaper articles and songs of the era.
- We provide opportunity to rehearse, refine, share and respond thoughtfully to drama through working on scripted scenes from our popular musical ‘Read All About It’ Musical.
- Children express themselves through drama and Bring History to Life.
- Encourage speaking and listening skills and develop your pupils ability to respond appropriately to others in role.
- Develop self expression and creativity through fast paced, fun filled, activities which will see your pupils transform into past lives and act their way to victory.
All our workshops are delivered by a passionate, dedicated, highly skilled drama practitioner with an enhanced DBS check and PVG.
