The Suffragettes School Workshop, allows your children to step back into past lives, become a different person. The children will imagine a different world, experience the emotions of another time. Through the use of drama, artefacts, costumes, music, sounds and staging we make this a possibility for all children.

Drama has a proven positive impact on learning. Our workshops encourage learning through tried and tested drama techniques. Scripts to Stage create unique, theatrical and educational experiences with the wow factor, which connects with the national curriculum.
Our workshop:
- Brings learning to life and provide a stimulating, memorable experience which will motivate your children to engage and interact with the Suffragette topic.
- Promises a fun packed day, full of tailored activities, games, to give your children a better understanding of life in the times of the suffrage movement.
- Full of tailored activities, that take your children back in time.
- Follow the time line through drama games, activities, costumes, scripts, artefacts, sounds and staging.
- The workshop games begin the moment the children walk into the space.
- The scene will be set with newspaper articles, chants, acting scenes.
- We provide opportunity to rehearse, refine, share and respond thoughtfully to drama through working on scripted scenes from our popular musical ‘Suffragettes The Fight’ Musical.
- Children express themselves through drama and Bring History to Life.
- Encourage speaking and listening skills and develop your pupils ability to respond appropriately to others in role.
- Develop self expression and creativity through fast paced, fun filled, activities which will see your pupils transform into past lives and act their way to victory.
All our workshops are delivered by a passionate, dedicated, highly skilled drama practitioner with an enhanced DBS check and PVG.
